Young boy on the street

My series of photos is a about young and poor children on the street. I’ve got inspiration from numerous of photo before. Talking about poor children is not a new topic. However, I want to explore that topic in a new point of view. The child in the photo he has to learn and practice skills (blowing fire, chew burned coaxial, hold a stick of fire in his mouth) to earn money for living. It’s also particular in Ho Chi Minh city. I haven’t seen this kind of performing/earning money in Hanoi or other city in Vietnam yet.

I took some photo in portrait, his eyes sight is really different from other children whom have been raised in a happy family. It’s show he has been going out on street for along time. Otherwise, there’s some moment, he’s still smile like a child. It took me a few days going around the city looking for him.
